These experimental paintings have emerged from an ongoing study, each representing a theme in my journey of self-discovery.

Previous Work and Premise

The following concepts laid the groundwork for my artistic exploration:

  1. Creating Your Own World: The initial idea centers on the belief that you shape your own reality.
  2. Acceptance of Dual Nature: Recognizing the validation and strength in both negative and positive aspects of life, such as strength and vulnerability, facilitates deeper self-exploration.
  3. Psyche Exploration: My interest in understanding the psyche was fueled by early attempts to extricate myself from various constraints—intellectual, emotional, and circumstantial—that I couldn't fully identify.
  4. Identifying Negative Patterns: I began to recognize recurring negative patterns in my life, which sparked my essays. In these writings, I focused on rewriting the underlying programs causing these repetitions.

Essays and Insights

Through numerous trials and errors, I explored solutions to these challenges, articulating my findings in detailed essays. However, this detailed approach often left me feeling increasingly powerless in the face of its complexity and its seemingly never-ending nature. This realization led me to create my first painting, Courage, as a radical response to regain my power and take bolder steps forward. I sought to break free from getting lost in the details—a state rooted in insecurity and the need for control to feel safe.

Current Collection

From this dynamic interplay between writing and painting, I created my current collection of seven paintings. Each piece was developed simultaneously with my essays, allowing for a back-and-forth process where each new conclusion informed and enriched the paintings. The collection consists of:

  1. Chariot: Courage
  2. Abundance
  3. Time
  4. Judgment
  5. Mirroring
  6. Authority
  7. Psyche

Courage (1): The first painting embodies the energy I needed to harness to pursue Abundance (2).
Time (3): Addressing the limiting beliefs surrounding time became crucial as I sought to reshape my relationship with it, realizing that results were not manifesting quickly enough.
Judgment (4): I worked on balancing my desire for outcomes with the need for self-acceptance, overcoming feelings of inadequacy and judgment. This journey motivated me to create an environment that supports my new vision and unburdens my emotional landscape.
Mirroring (5): This theme reflects my longing for harmony within myself and in my relationship with the outer world. It involves studying the correlation between different dimensions of existence and understanding how changes in personal narratives impact my reality.
Authority (6): Embracing my legitimacy allowed me to take charge of my journey, asserting my right to choose and lead.
Psyche (7): Finally, I learned to let go of rigid structures and thoughts, experiencing clarity through simplicity and openness. This process involved discarding limiting rules and embracing flow, leading to a more profound experience.

Companions in Exploration

These paintings have become companions, residing with me for an extended period, allowing me to explore their evolving impact on my life. Beyond mere efficiency, I aimed to experiment with various elements, including styles that range from abstract to figurative, diverse mediums, and textured expressions.

What’s Next?

Future collections will evolve each subject, creating a series that reflects their development over time. For example, the third piece in the Abundance series will be featured in Collection 3.
